A couple months ago I mentioned that we will be support 2 charities at the convention this year:

• The Ronald McDonald House AND
• The Alzheimers Association

The highlight of our fundraising for these two great charities will be a Charity Auction.  Even if you don’t think you would bid on any of our fantastic items I would highly recommend that you don’t miss this event.  Why?  I’ll give you a hint.  We will be having some entertainment featuring Tom Mullica, Johnny & Pam Thompson and Fielding West that you probably will not have an opportunity to see anywhere else.

Celebrity Auction for Charity

_westThe highlight of our fundraising for these two great charities will be a Charity Auction.

We will be posting our auction catalog online in a couple months, but I can tell you that we have received donations from:

• Mac King
• Jeff McBride
• Eugene Burger
• Carl Weathers
• Nolan Ryan
• Plus several others that are in the works that we will be telling you about soon.

You may have noticed that we have a mix of magic and non-magic celebrities listed. I think you may be surprised when you see more of the names and items when we post our catalog.

I’m looking forward to seeing you all at TAOM this year.

Mark Jensen, President

The Last Word

Well, darn!  After all the hype, I wasn’t able to attend the Austin auction.  I understand it was one of the best with over $24,000 worth of magic changing hands.  Congratulations to Trixie Bond and her super crew.

This time of year the many things that must be done overtake the things that you want to do.  Now I’m really getting excited about the convention in Dallas in a few months.  Nothing will stand in the way of that one!  The “one of a kind, never to be repeated” events are intriguing to say the least and the charity auction is going to be blast!  See you there.
