Dear TAOM' ers....

THANK YOU ALL for a great convention, and great hospitality! It had been a few years since my schedule allowed me to return "Home Again to my Partners in Texas," and you surely made me feel at home. I'll be performing next year, as well as doing the KARRELL FOX MAGIC LECTURE.... so till then, I'll "see you down the road."

I would like to say that the one thing that bothers me every  year is that the competitions are always in conflict with lectures. You have to miss the lecture, if you want to see any competitions. I would like to see it so that either there isn't that conflict, or probably more realistically that at least part of the competitions are not in conflict with the lectures.

That's all I can think of---other than it seems we always have Tek problems on the evening shows. I don not know why, but it would be great to eliminate that problem, if possible. It positively destroyed Tom Mullica's brilliant Red Skelton act in Austin, and was a big problem this year also.

Let me start by saying how much of a pleasure it was to be included as a performer at this years TAOM. I appreciate all the positive comments from everyone on my tribute to Harry Blackstone Jr.
I know that running a convention must be an huge task and a tip of the top hat must go to Scott Wells and his crew that pulled a good one out of that hat. The complaints are always  going to be there because you can't please everyone. Yes the hotel did prove to be not what I would call the best set up for ease of getting to events and room and dining. But I look at it like this I got entertained and a work out. I heard there were some tech problems at the Majestic but this seems to always be the case. However I must say that the tech crew and producers of the hotel show did a great job with what they had to work with. I would like to say how much I appreciate the efforts of Derek Kennedy and Rick Walker to make me look good. These guys really did a great job. Also the the sound crew and stage crew thank you very much. Over all a enjoyable  convention. Lets do it again next year. See yall then.
