Correct Contact is the Key

question_marks_copyA new year means elections for many clubs and new officers mean the information needs to be updated.  How long since you looked at your club’s contact information on your affiliated websites?  I just checked the S.A.M., I.B.M., and TAOM websites and was absolutely shocked to discover that over 50% of the club and member listings are wrong.

TAOM listings can be corrected by sending the information to webmaster JD Stewart at jd@jd-stewart.com

Send changes to S.A.M. at manon@magic.bz

I.B.M. corrections should be sent to sindie@magician.org

Prospective members and visiting magicians have a hard enough time getting in touch with magic clubs, so please correct your club’s listings.  Check yours now!

judy_passportBatting a Thousand!

Have you ever been perfect?  Well, let me tell you a cautionary tale.  Scott and I have a perfect record for choosing the losing teams in the NFL playoffs.  From the last game of the regular season when we were so hoping for a Dallas Coyboys victory to the Houston Texans’ heart-breaking loss in the first round of the playoffs to the grand finale when the Giants overcame a better team to take the crown away from the Patriots, we rooted for every team that came out on the bottom in the score box.

Does this have anything to do with magic?  Probably not, but it might teach one to perservere against the odds.
